The construction plan was presented on a 5-acre plot by Professor SM Akhtar at the IICF Trust’s office in Lucknow.
After the Supreme Court’s decision last year, in charge of building a mosque (Mosque in Ayodhya) in Ayodhya, which paved the way for the Ram temple in the city of Uttar Pradesh, the first architectural plan for the project was released. The first phase of the project, for which the foundation stone is expected to be laid early next year, will also have a hospital along with a mosque. The Trust plans to expand the hospital in the second phase.
The mosque’s name has not been decided yet, and it will not be named after any emperor or king, the Indo Islamic Cultural Foundation (IICF) Trust said in a presentation of the project located in Dhanipur, Ayodhya.
In the presentation, the trust showed the designs of many contemporary mosques around the world. A computer generated image of a schematic mosque shows a huge glass dome across a picturesque garden. A futuristic designed hospital is built behind the mosque.
The IICF Trust said in a statement, “The design is a replica of the modern architecture of mosques around the world.”
The construction plan was presented on a 5-acre plot by Professor SM Akhtar at the IICF Trust’s office in Lucknow.
The IICF Trust said in a statement, “Professor Pushpesh Pant, consultant and curator for the on-site archives and museum, noted the need for a good museum to show the combined achievements and struggles of Hindu and Muslim communities in India.”
The Trust said, “The hospital will provide state-of-the-art facilities and at the same time focus on malnutrition among children and expectant mothers who are very much needed in the surrounding area and population, its building will also have trust offices and publishing houses, which will be in Indo Focuses on the research and publishing house of Islamic cultural-literature studies. “
Ordering an “appropriate” plot of five acres in Ayodhya, the Supreme Court said that it was necessary as the court would have to ensure that a wrongful convict should be saved. The judges had said, “Tolerance and mutual co-existence nourish the secular commitment of our nation and its people.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to Ayodhya after 29 years for the “Bhoomi Pujan” ceremony for the Ram temple in August this year. PM Modi, who was one of the organizers of a nationwide campaign for a temple in 1990, where the 16th-century Babri Masjid stood, laid a silver brick as the foundation of the temple at the Bhoomi Poojan ceremony.
