Rishi Raj Singh, popularly known as Rishi, was born in 2003.

Rishi has been passionate about singing since his school days and has been honing his musical skills. Prior to competing on Indian Idol 13, he received three years of classical singing training from Guru Satyaprakash at Naka, Faizabad (Ayodhya).
Rishi Singh made his debut as a contestant on Indian Idol 13, and gained widespread recognition after his audition clip went viral online. Hailing from Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, Rishi aspires to be a professional singer. He has already collaborated with friends on YouTube, covering songs and creating original compositions, with the hope of realizing his dream of becoming a professional singer one day. Rishi Singh also revealed that he recently discovered that he had been adopted by his parents, and expressed deep appreciation for them for taking care of him.
Expressing his joy and gratitude after winning Indian Idol 13, Rishi Singh stated, “I am still in disbelief that I won the Indian Idol 13 trophy. It feels surreal! As a reward for his victory, Rishi Singh was presented with a cheque of Rs 25 lakh from Sony Entertainment Television, and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. gifted him a brand new Brezza, adding to his excitement and joy.
